Dr Laura Davey

GP for older people, Care Home Service Lead, Medical Examiner

Dr Laura Davey is a GP, based in the Southwest of England, with over 12 years of experience.  She has a portfolio career that encompasses general practice, working in secondary care on geriatric rehabilitation, working as a medical examiner, trialling a PCN level dedicated care home service prior to the EHCH funding announcement and then further developing that service into what it is today.  She is the lead for an MDT that provides care to 11 care homes with 360 residents, focusing on both proactive and acute interventions for this vulnerable population.
