Danny Bartlett

Speaking in a personal capacity, Danny Bartlett MRPharmS PGCert IP is the Clinical Lead at the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Primary Care School within NHS England. He qualified as a pharmacist in 2014, beginning his career in community pharmacy before transitioning into general practice.

He is also a Senior Lecturer at the University of Brighton, teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of pharmacist prescribing. As the DPP Quality Assurance Lead, he’s helped raise national standards for supervision and training.

In addition to his clinical and academic work, Danny is an elected member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s English Pharmacy Board, where he contributes to policy and advocacy for the profession. His commitment to improving care through education and innovation underpins everything he does.

Mandip Bassi

Mandip is a senior clinical pharmacist with a specialist interest in cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic conditions. 15 years ago, he began his career in community pharmacy where he held several managerial posts ranging from store manager to multi-site management. For four of these years, he held a seat on the Nottinghamshire Local Pharmaceutical Committee, where he helped shape the landscape of local community pharmacy. 

In 2019, Mandip made the transition to primary care with NCGPA. During this time, he completed his independent prescribing qualification, the CPPE PCN primary care education pathway and has been a mentor for other clinical pharmacists. He is currently the clinical pharmacist manager for his primary care network and project lead for NCGPA, where he has led on creating and implementing improvement plans in both diabetes and CVD care. He is passionate about addressing health inequalities within Nottingham City and challenging clinical inertia.
